support the HORIZONS Scholarship with a donation. Given annually, this scholarship helps assure we have a steady stream of women entering fields in support of national security.
From 2010 to 2011, we raised more than $50,000 and were able to give substantial funds to nine impressive women. For 2012, we would like to help even more. Your donation makes a difference, as you can see from the compelling stories of recipients.
To help other young women like these, we need to count on you. Every dollar of your donation goes to a student. The scholarship targets rising college juniors, seniors, and graduate students with high grades and a course of study that can lead to a national security-related career. Among the requirements is an essay that helps us pinpoint those who appear to have the most interest in serving the country. When we select a recipient, we feel certain she will soon give back to our defense community.
