Special Assistant to the Chief of Staff, U.S. Air Force

Dr. Kass joins us to discuss the conflict domain of cyberspace. Cyberspace is the primary medium where the Air Force does its command, control, communications, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance. Dr. Kass was director of the Cyberspace Task Force, which worked to harness capabilities of cyberspace and to assess potential problems, especially in relation to counterterrorism. The Air Force considers cyberspace to be one of the five areas necessary to effectively wage war, with the others being land, sea, air, and space.
