Supporting the Troops
Upstate New York WID members are committed to supporting the troops by recognizing the sacrifices made by those who serve and their families and finding ways to show appreciation. Fort Drum, which is home to the Army’s 10th Mountain Division, is located in the area the chapter covers, and like most communities, Syracuse and the surrounding area is also home to a large number of Guard and Reserve members.

A Part of the Community
The chapter enjoys a strong partnership with the Greater Syracuse Chamber of Commerce and shares the mission of strengthening the defense industry in the community by bringing awareness of the industry and the quality of life in Upstate New York to members of the defense and national security profession.
