About the Chapter

The WID Picatinny chapter is based in Picatinny NJ and has been serving the civilian, contractor, and military men and women working at Picatinny Arsenal for over a decade. In addition to providing professional support for our members, we also provide scholarships and social activities for our families and the community in Northern New Jersey.

2017 Local Scholarships: Application Deadline June 26th, 2017

  1. Women in Defense Scholarship: designed to help a high school student in the pursuit of a STEAM (Science Technology Engineering Arts Math) college degree.
    Grant(s) up to $1,500 will be available to a graduating high school senior who plans to enroll fulltime at a two-year or four-year accredited institution during the upcoming academic year. (Download Application and Instructions)
  2. Bob Deeds Memorial Scholarship: designed to help a high school student athlete in the pursuit of a college degree.
    1 Grant of $1,000 will be available to a graduating high school senior who plans to enroll fulltime at a two-year or four-year accredited institution during the upcoming academic year. (Download Application and Instructions)
