Programs
STEM:
Encouraging students to pursue studies in science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) is one focal point for the Minnesota chapter. Please stay tuned for more. STEM is important not only to Minnesota’s economic stability but to the nation’s security as well. WID and NDIA support efforts to draw and keep students in STEM-related endeavors and careers.
Dress for Success:
Chapter leaders are researching how Dress for Success can benefit the communities the WID Minnesota Chapter serves. Established in 1997, Dress For Success has helped countless disadvantaged women enter the work force with gently used dresses and suits in every size. The donations of clothing, shoes, jewelry, accessories, and even computers have changed many of these women's lives.
