About the Chapter
Welcome!
The Belvoir Chapter, in Northern Virginia, was founded September 16, 2008.
"The Women in Defense Chapter at Ft. Belvoir, and its continued success, was the result of a number of discussions among senior government and industry women focused on the pending growth and expansion of the Defense Department at Ft. Belvoir. There was a tremendous amount of enthusiasm and support. The opportunities for networking and building contacts while enjoying exciting speakers and the historical venue of the Ft. Belvoir Officer's Club is not only rewarding and educational but also stimulating. It affords us the opportunity to have an impact on the lives of professionals who work in this community, enjoy their professions, and would like to get to know and support other women with a like focus."

Dress For Success:
Learn how you can help! Donate gently used clothing for Dress For Success.
Established in 1997, Dress For Success has helped countless disadvantaged women enter the work force with gently used dresses and suits in every size. The donations of clothing, shoes, jewelry, accessories, and even computers have changed many of these women's lives.
To donate: you may visit any Crest Cleaners who will dry clean your donation for DFS. Note that you will receive a tax donation receipt for your generosity.
