February 2004 WID’s 2004 Schedule: Getting Off to a Fast-Paced Start WID’s Iowa/Illinois Chapter will hold its annual symposium on March 10. The theme will be “Put Order into Your Chaos—Setting Goals and Priorities.” The event will take place at the Isle of Capri Conference Center in Bettendorf, Iowa. Senior military and civilian Army leaders will address procurement and other defense-related issues. The majority of the members of this chapter, which was founded in 2001, are associated with Rock Island Arsenal, Ill. The Tennessee Valley Chapter, established in 2003, is hosting its Third Annual Southeastern Software Engineering Conference on March 29-31. In Huntsville, Ala., It will focus on the theme “Technologies that Will Change the World.” Please watch the chapter's web site, http://www.ndia-tvc.org/SESEC/, for more information. Women In Defense also is preparing to host a national conference in March aimed at helping the small business community learn more about doing business with the federal government.
